About Mike

I was born and raised in a middle class family in the heart of West Virginia. I lived what I would call an ordinary life, very fortunate in so many ways. My parents were hard working, instilling in me the importance of hard work.

In 1974 I moved to Maryland to “go to school” and play college basketball. During my time there I met a local girl, fell in love and married. That was in 1976 and I am still happily married to Fayann today. We have two beautiful, wonderful children who are the apple of our eyes.

In 1979 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I have been walking with him since them. He has been there through lifes good times and bad. He has never left me and He told me that He would never forsake me. That is a promise I know He can not break because He can not lie.

I began my teaching career in 1969 as an elementary school physical education teacher. Throughout the years I have taught at not only the elementary school level but also middle school and high school. In 1993 I became a school administrator and have been one since.

In June of 2010 I was introduced to the idea about working from home. I have tried other type of home businesses before but was never successful. For the first 8 months I had fair success but nothing to write home about. In March of 2011 I was watching a reality TV show on Sunday Night called “Secret Millionaire.” The first celebrity was a lady named Dani Johnson. I’ve never heard of her before so I went to the web to see if you was real. She was. I also found out that she has written several books, a couple of which were Christian. I read her Christian books and realized that she was the real deal. Since April of 2011 I have plugged into her training and what a difference it has made.  It can make the same difference for you too!
